Settlers Bay Golf Course

Settlers Bay Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout eight miles west of Wasilla, on the coast of the Knik Arm in the Mat-Su Valley. The course plays 6,596 yards from the back tees at par 72 and is the centerpiece of Alaska’s only residential golf community.

The layout offers views of the Chugach Mountain Range across Knik Arm, and wildlife sightings — moose, eagles, and the occasional bear — are common along the fairways. The greens at Settlers Bay are frequently cited as among the best in the state.

The Albatross, a family-oriented restaurant inside the clubhouse, operates seasonally from May through September alongside the course. A driving range and pro shop are on site. Settlers Bay is one of two courses in the Wasilla area, along with Sleepy Hollow, and is within a 45-minute drive of Anchorage.
