Silver Wings Golf Club

Silver Wings Golf Club is a 27-hole military course at Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker) in Dale County, the U.S. Army’s primary helicopter training installation. The course is open year-round to both military personnel and civilian players, with memberships available to both groups. Champion Bermuda greens and tree-lined fairways of hardwood and pine define the layout, which has gently rolling elevation changes throughout. The facility includes a fully stocked pro shop, Divots Restaurant and Grill, meeting and banquet rooms, and a 300-yard practice range.

Military ID holders receive preferred rates and advance tee time access. The course is located near Enterprise and Ozark in the Wiregrass region of southeast Alabama. Silver Wings hosts regular member tournaments and maintains a GHIN handicap system for its members. Fort Novosel is about 85 miles southeast of Montgomery.
