Prairie Country Club

Prairie Country Club in Crossett traces its origins to 1922, making it one of the older golf facilities in southeast Arkansas. The nine-hole course was built on what had been natural rolling pastureland in Ashley County and plays 3,325 yards at par 36 with a slope of 118. Three creeks and two ponds come into play on several holes, adding water hazards to the otherwise straightforward rural layout.

The club operates as a private equity facility where guests must be accompanied by a member. A driving range provides practice space, and the club maintains a presence on social media through its Facebook page. Prairie Country Club serves as the primary golf option for Crossett residents and the surrounding timber-industry communities of south Arkansas.
