Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa, Dinosaur Mountain Course

The Dinosaur Mountain Course at Gold Canyon Golf Resort plays 6,008 yards at par 70 across 18 holes at the base of the Superstition Mountains. The layout features dramatic elevation changes and holes that route directly toward the rocky mountain faces, creating some of the most visually striking golf in the Phoenix metro area. The shorter yardage belies the difficulty posed by the terrain.

Gold Canyon sits east of Apache Junction on Kings Ranch Road, removed from the metro core. The Dinosaur Mountain Course is one of two layouts at the resort, alongside the Sidewinder Course. The Superstition Mountains provide a towering backdrop on nearly every hole, and the desert terrain requires precise target-style play throughout the round.
