Lake Shastina Golf Resort

Lake Shastina Golf Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 course that plays 6,969 yards near Weed in far northern California. A driving range is on site, and premium pricing applies. The nearly 7,000-yard length provides a full challenge from the back tees, and the northern location means the course plays through open terrain with views of Mount Shasta to the east.

The resort is on Country Club Drive near Weed, off Interstate 5 about an hour north of Redding. Mount Shasta Resort and McCloud Golf Club are the closest other courses. The mountain-influenced climate limits the playing season, as winter snowfall is common at this latitude and elevation. Summer brings warm, clear days that are ideal for golf. The relative isolation of the area makes this one of the few full-length options in California’s far north.
