Mt. Whitney Golf Club

Mt. Whitney Golf Club is a nine-hole, par-36 course playing 3,312 yards. A driving range is on site. The course sits at about 3,700 feet of elevation in the Owens Valley, with the towering eastern face of the Sierra Nevada as a backdrop. The par-36 format over nine holes gives players a full range of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes.

The club is in Lone Pine, a small town on US 395 at the base of Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States. Economy pricing makes it very affordable. The nearest course of note is Bishop Country Club, about 60 miles north. The Owens Valley’s arid climate provides clear skies most of the year, though winter cold can limit play.
