Shelter Cove Golf Links is a nine-hole course playing 2,380 yards at par 33. The compact layout sits near the Pacific coast in the Lost Coast region, one of the most isolated stretches of California’s shoreline. There is no driving range.

The course is in Whitethorn, a small community in Humboldt County far from any major population center. Priced at the economy tier, it is among the most affordable and remote golf options in the state. The nearest courses are Redwood Empire Golf & Country Club and Eureka Golf Course, both a long drive north. For golfers visiting the Lost Coast, this is the closest course to the Lost Coast trailheads.
