Trona Golf Course

Trona Golf Course is a nine-hole, par-37 layout playing 2,600 yards. The course sits in the remote Mojave Desert near Trona, on arid terrain surrounded by open desert. There is no driving range. The sparse setting and unusual par of 37 reflect a small-town course built for the local community.

Located in Trona, a small mining town in the western Mojave Desert near Searles Valley, this is one of the most isolated golf courses in California. It is priced at the economy tier. The nearest other course is China Lake Golf Course, a considerable drive away. Trona Golf Course exists primarily to serve residents in this remote area, and its desert surroundings give it a character unlike anything found in California’s more populated regions.
