Windwalker Ranch

Windwalker Ranch is an ultra-private nine-hole course on a 514-acre ranch near Steamboat Springs. The course is reserved for the roughly 10 families in the ownership group and their personal guests, with no commercial golf operations. The layout achieves nine holes through the shared use of five greens and three fairways, keeping the footprint minimal on the ranch property.

Beyond golf, the ranch includes ponds for swimming, fishing, and paddleboarding in summer, along with Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in winter. Routt County approved the course construction, and it remains one of the most restricted golf facilities in Colorado. The property sits off Whistler Road northeast of Steamboat Springs in the Yampa Valley.
