Deer Island Country Club

Deer Island Country Club is a private 18-hole layout at par 72 measuring 6,661 yards on a small island in Lake Dora, part of the Harris Chain of Lakes in Lake County. The course is physically distinctive in that the routing takes advantage of the island’s waterfront setting, with lake views and water hazards defining much of the design. A full driving range is available.

Access to Deer Island requires crossing the water, which reinforces the members-only character of this private community located near Tavares, the county seat of Lake County. Premium fees reflect the residential community’s island orientation and the quality of the golf experience in this part of central Florida, which is less densely developed than the corridors closer to Orlando.
