Within The Villages Executive Golf Trail, Heron is one of several wildlife-themed layouts alongside Gray Fox and others, maintaining the executive format that defines the trail with a routing built for pace and accessibility.

Heron sits within golf cart range of the surrounding residential areas of The Villages, accessible through the community’s path network without requiring residents to use public roads. As with all the Executive Golf Trail courses, the residents-only access model keeps Heron focused on serving the community’s population of active adults who use daily golf as a central part of their lifestyle throughout the Florida year.
