The Villages Executive Golf Trail, Palmetto Course

The Palmetto Course is named for the sabal palmetto, Florida’s state tree, and plays through a setting typical of the executive trail courses at The Villages. The layout is short-format with a focus on accuracy and short-game execution, designed for the kind of social, active play that characterizes daily life in the community. Like other trail courses, it can be completed in under two hours at a comfortable walking pace.

Set in Lady Lake, the Palmetto Course is part of The Villages’ residents-only executive golf trail. Residents throughout the development can access the trail’s many executive layouts, with the Lady Lake courses serving those in the northern portions of the community. The palmetto-lined setting reflects the native Florida vegetation that weaves through many of the trail’s courses.
