The Villages Executive Golf Trail, Yankee Clipper 2 Course

The Yankee Clipper 2 Course is the companion layout to the original Yankee Clipper Course in The Villages Executive Golf Trail, both named for Joe DiMaggio’s famous nickname. The expansion course was added to meet demand for the popular Yankee Clipper design concept, giving residents a second version with its own distinct routing. As an executive layout, it focuses on iron precision and short-game skill.

Located in Lady Lake, the Yankee Clipper 2 Course is part of The Villages’ residents-only golf trail. The existence of a second course under the same name reflects the demand for golf within the community, which maintains more executive layouts per capita than virtually any other retirement development in Florida. Access is restricted to Villages residents and their guests.
