Gateway National Golf Links stretches 7,178 yards over 18 holes with a par of 71. A driving range is on-site. At over 7,100 yards, this is one of the longer courses in the Metro East region. The “links” name suggests an open, wind-exposed layout, and the Mississippi River floodplain terrain in this area is flat and treeless in places.

Madison is directly across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, Missouri. Gateway National is priced at the luxury tier, the highest-end public option in the immediate Metro East area. Arlington Greens Golf Course and Indian Mounds Golf Course are among the nearby alternatives. The St. Louis metro straddles two states, giving golfers access to courses on both sides of the river.
