Portland Golf Club

Portland Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 70 course measuring 6,388 yards. The layout is on the flat farmland of eastern Indiana’s till plain near Portland, the Jay County seat. A driving range is on-site for practice. At nearly 6,400 yards, the par 70 design demands solid mid-iron play, with the reduced par meaning fewer par 5 opportunities compared to a standard 72.

Portland is in far eastern Indiana, close to the Ohio state line and about 30 miles north of Muncie. Economy pricing keeps the course accessible for the rural community it serves. The flat terrain is characteristic of this part of Indiana and allows for good drainage during the spring thaw. Portland Golf Club is the primary full-length course option in Jay County, serving golfers from the surrounding agricultural region.
