Shadowood Golf Course

Shadowood Golf Course measures 6,713 yards over 18 holes with a par of 72. A driving range is on site for warmup and practice. The course plays through wooded terrain along Sandy Creek in Jackson County, where the ground begins to transition from the flat central till plain into the hillier unglaciated region of southern Indiana. This gives the layout more elevation change and tighter tree-lined corridors than courses farther north.

Located on Sandy Creek Drive in Seymour, the course is easily reached from I-65, which passes through town. Standard pricing keeps it affordable for regular play. Seymour’s position roughly halfway between Indianapolis and Louisville makes Shadowood a convenient stop for traveling golfers, and the 6,700-plus yards offer a legitimate challenge for players who can handle the length and tree-framed fairways.
