The Sportsman Golf Course

The Sportsman Golf Course is an 18-hole par 72 layout measuring 6,172 yards. The course occupies the hilly terrain of southeastern Indiana near the Ohio River, where natural elevation changes and wooded areas shape the holes. No driving range is available on the property.

Rising Sun is a small Ohio River town in the southeast corner of the state, and The Sportsman’s economy pricing makes it one of the most affordable full-length courses in the area. The par 72 at just over 6,100 yards is playable for most skill levels while still offering enough length to test mid-handicap players. The rolling, wooded terrain gives the course more visual interest and strategic variety than flatter courses elsewhere in Indiana.
