Turkey Creek Golf Course

Turkey Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 layout playing 6,312 yards. The par-70 format trades a couple of longer holes for tighter ones, putting a premium on shot placement. There is no driving range on site.

Operated by the Lake County Parks system, this course is in Merrillville in northwest Indiana’s suburban corridor south of Gary. Standard pricing makes it a mid-range public option in an area with several courses competing for rounds. The flat Great Lakes plain terrain is consistent with other northwest Indiana layouts, and the county-park operation helps keep the course accessible to a broad base of local golfers.
