Winding River Golf Course

Winding River Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71 layout at 6,672 yards on the south side of Indianapolis. The course is along Mann Road, where the terrain shows gentle contours as the central Indiana till plain begins transitioning toward the White River drainage. A driving range is available for warm-up. At over 6,600 yards, the course has solid length, and the par 71 configuration means one extra par 3 compared to a standard 72.

The course is in the southwest portion of the Indianapolis metro, accessible from I-465 and the surrounding Marion County neighborhoods. Standard pricing makes it a mid-range option in a city with many public and private courses. The 6,672-yard length gives it enough yardage to challenge low-handicap players from the back tees while remaining playable from forward positions.
