Meadowbrook Golf Course is Lexington’s only short course, an 18-hole municipal layout with a total par of 54 (listed as par 54, though some sources say 55 with one par 4). The course plays 2,235 yards from the back tees, with holes ranging from 87 to 270 yards. The longest hole is the 15th, a par 4 at 270 yards, while the shortest is the 11th at 87 yards. The course is walking only and a round takes about two hours.

Run by the City of Lexington, Meadowbrook is open to the public and sits on Wilson Downing Road in Fayette County. The short format makes it a practical option for beginners, juniors, or experienced players looking to sharpen their short game.
