Rocky Point is a public course in Essex, on Baltimore County’s Back River Neck peninsula. The par-72 layout plays 6,753 yards in the Premium price tier. Elevation changes throughout the layout make the course play longer than the posted yardage suggests.

Natural wetlands wind through the property, creating some of the prettiest views in the Baltimore area public golf scene. Greens are large and inviting at first glance but deceptive in practice, with undulations and strategically placed bunkers guarding most approaches. A driving range rounds out the facility. Managed by Baltimore County, Rocky Point offers solid public-course value for golfers in the eastern suburbs.
