Drummond Island Resort & Conference Center

Drummond Island Resort’s course plays 18 holes at par 71, measuring 6,837 yards on S Maxton Road. The island setting in Lake Huron gives this course a unique character, with natural rock outcroppings, dense boreal forest, and rugged terrain defining the layout. A driving range is on site. The nearly 6,900-yard length provides a stiff test in an extraordinary natural setting.

Drummond Island is accessible only by ferry from DeTour Village, making this one of the most isolated courses in Michigan. Standard pricing is reasonable given the resort experience. Drummond Island Township Golf Course is nearby on the island itself, while Les Cheneaux Golf Club and Hessel Ridge Golf are on the mainland. The short playing season and island access limit the number of rounds each year, keeping the course uncrowded.
