Pointe Aux Barques Golf Course is a 9-hole layout at par 36, playing 2,980 yards. There is no driving range. The course is on Bayview Drive near Port Austin, at the very tip of Michigan’s Thumb where Lake Huron wraps around the peninsula. The coastal location means wind off the lake can significantly affect play, and the terrain near the shoreline is relatively flat with sandy soils.

Port Austin is a small resort community at the top of the Thumb, popular with summer vacationers drawn to the Lake Huron beaches. The course does not have a listed cost tier. Bird Creek Golf Club and Caseville Golf Course are the nearest alternatives in this sparsely populated part of the state.
