Gunflint Hills Golf Course

Gunflint Hills Golf Course is a nine-hole, par-36 layout that plays 3,030 yards on Golf Course Road in Grand Marais. A driving range is available. The course sits on the hilly terrain of the North Shore highlands, where boreal forest and Lake Superior’s proximity create playing conditions unlike anything in southern Minnesota. The regulation-length nine provides a full test on this northern terrain.

Grand Marais is a small town in Cook County on Lake Superior, close to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and the Gunflint Trail. Economy pricing makes the course accessible to both locals and the steady stream of tourists who visit the North Shore. Superior National at Lutsen and Silver Bay Golf Course are the nearest other options, but courses are spread far apart in this remote part of the state.
