Cassville Golf Club opened its first nine holes in 1966, with the back nine added in 1988 to complete the 18-hole layout. The course plays 6,604 yards at par 72 through the Ozark hills of Barry County, near the Arkansas border in southwest Missouri. The Kansas City Star has ranked it among the top ten public courses in the state, a notable distinction for a course this far from a major metro area.
