Heart of America Golf Course

Heart of America Golf Course operates in Swope Park in central Kansas City and serves as a learning-focused golf facility. The property includes three distinct courses: the River Course, a 2,640-yard par-35 executive layout with water on more than half its holes and a river running through the property; the Rock Course, a par-3 design ideal for beginners and short-game practice; and the Hill Course, a three-hole layout that became a prototype for similar introductory courses across the country. A grass driving range and putting/chipping greens round out the practice options.

Heart of America is home to The First Tee of Greater Kansas City, making it a hub for youth golf development. The facility also features Kansas City’s only FootGolf course. Economy pricing and the educational focus make it an accessible entry point into the game in the KC metro.
