Bayou Bend Country Club

Bayou Bend Country Club traces its roots back to 1930, making it one of the older courses in the Mississippi Delta. The nine-hole layout runs 3,163 yards from the back tees at par 36, set along the flat terrain characteristic of Tallahatchie County near Sumner. The course is private and primarily serves members and their guests.

There is no driving range on the property, so players warm up on the practice green before heading out. Green fees run about $30 for nine holes. The club maintains a Facebook presence for updates and events. Its small-town Delta setting means a quiet, unhurried round, and the course sits within a short drive of other nine-hole clubs at Clarksdale, Shelby, and Webb.
