Cullasaja Club

Cullasaja Club is an elite private 18-hole course in Highlands, perched in the southern Blue Ridge Mountains of Macon County at an elevation above 4,000 feet. The par 72 layout plays 6,651 yards and takes its name from the nearby Cullasaja River and its series of waterfalls. A driving range supports the membership.

The course threads through dense rhododendron, mountain laurel, and hardwood forests with dramatic elevation changes between holes. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 80 degrees, making it a popular seasonal retreat for members from Atlanta and the Carolina lowlands. Highlands has long been a center of upscale mountain golf, and Cullasaja is one of several private clubs in the area catering to that market.
