Firethorne Country Club

Firethorne Country Club is an elite private 18-hole course in Marvin, in Union County just south of Charlotte. The par 72 layout plays 6,904 yards and is managed by Invited (formerly ClubCorp). A driving range supports the membership.

The course winds through a residential community built on rolling Piedmont terrain, with mature trees and creeks defining many of the corridors. Strategic bunkering and well-protected greens demand accuracy on approach shots. Marvin is one of the wealthier communities in the Charlotte metro area, and Firethorne serves as a primary club for families in the Ballantyne, Weddington, and Waxhaw areas. Its location near the South Carolina state line puts it within reach of golfers from both states.
