Lonnie Poole Golf Course At NC State University

Lonnie Poole Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 layout on the NC State University campus in Raleigh. At 7,358 yards from the back tees, it is one of the longest courses in the Triangle and plays through heavily wooded terrain with significant elevation changes along the ridges above Lake Raleigh. A driving range is available.

The course serves as the home venue for NC State’s men’s and women’s golf teams. Luxury pricing puts it at the upper end of Raleigh’s public-access options. Raleigh Golf Association and Wildwood Green are nearby, but Lonnie Poole stands apart in terms of conditioning and the university-campus setting.
