River Bend Country Club

River Bend Country Club is an 18-hole course in the River Bend community along the Trent River, just west of New Bern. The par-71 layout plays 6,499 yards through flat coastal terrain with mature pines and occasional views of the river. A driving range is available for members and guests preparing for their round.

The course takes advantage of several creeks and ponds that thread through the property, creating water hazards on nearly half the holes. Fairways are generally open off the tee but narrow near the greens, where bunkers and water demand accurate iron play. River Bend CC is part of a planned community and serves residents along with visiting players. New Bern’s mild coastal climate allows for year-round golf, and the area’s Colonial history makes it a popular destination for travelers.
