Silo Run Golf Course

Silo Run Golf Course is an 18-hole layout in Boonville, Yadkin County, in the foothills northwest of Winston-Salem. The par-71 course plays 6,790 yards through the rolling terrain of the Yadkin Valley, a region better known for its vineyards and wineries. Economy pricing and a driving range make it an affordable option in this rural part of the Piedmont.

The course name reflects the agricultural heritage of the area, and the layout moves through former farmland with mature trees and open meadows. At nearly 6,800 yards, the course has real length from the back tees. Water features come into play on a few holes, and the naturally rolling ground creates uneven lies that test shot-making. Silo Run draws golfers from the Yadkin Valley, Elkin, and the western Triad who want a full-length round without the drive to larger cities.
