Taberna Country Club

Taberna Country Club is an 18-hole course within the Taberna residential community in New Bern, Craven County. The par-72 layout plays 6,917 yards, making it one of the longer courses in the New Bern area. A Jim Lipe design, the course routes through coastal pine forests and past wetland areas. A driving range supports pre-round practice, and premium pricing reflects the community club’s standards.

The layout uses the flat coastal terrain effectively, with ponds, marshes, and creeks creating water hazards on roughly half the holes. Fairways are generous off the tee but narrow on approach, and the greens have enough contour to reward careful putting.
