The Pointe Golf Club

The Pointe Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Powells Point, on the Currituck County mainland just west of the Outer Banks bridges. The layout plays 6,343 yards at par 71, with coastal winds from the Albemarle and Currituck Sounds adding difficulty beyond what the yardage suggests. A driving range is available on the property.

Priced at the elite level, The Pointe is one of only a handful of courses serving Outer Banks vacationers and year-round residents. Kilmarlic Resort & Golf Club, Duck Woods Country Club, and Sea Scape Golf Links are the closest alternatives. Its mainland location means slightly less wind than courses on the barrier islands, though breezes still influence shot selection on most days.
