Willow Creek Golf Course

Willow Creek Golf Course is a nine-hole par-3 layout in Vilas, a few miles from Boone in the High Country of Watauga County. Playing just 1,663 yards at par 27, the course offers a quick, casual round in a mountain setting at around 3,300 feet elevation. There is no driving range.

Green fees are at the economy level. The course is part of the Willow Valley Resort and serves vacationers and Appalachian State University students along with local residents. Hound Ears Club, Boone Golf Club, and Diamond Creek are among the full-length courses in the Boone area. Willow Creek fills a niche for those who want to play golf in the mountains without the time or cost of a regulation round.
