Woodlake Country Club

Woodlake Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Vass, in Moore County’s Sandhills region about 15 miles east of Pinehurst. The layout plays 6,791 yards at par 72, routed through a residential community with sandy soil and longleaf pine corridors typical of the Sandhills. A driving range is available for members.

Green fees are at the premium level. Woodlake sits in the broader Sandhills golf corridor, with Fort Liberty’s Ryder and Stryker courses, Hyland Golf Club, and Whispering Woods Golf Club all within a short drive. The sandy, fast-draining soil means the course stays playable year-round, even after heavy rain. Woodlake’s location offers a quieter alternative to the busier Pinehurst-area clubs while maintaining the same Sandhills playing conditions.
