About This Course
Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club traces its golf history to the late 1880s, when owners Cyrus and Marcia Gale built a rustic course for overnight guests at their Jackson, New Hampshire inn. In 1931, their son Arthur Gale transformed the surrounding farmland into the current nine-hole layout that winds along the Wildcat River within the White Mountain National Forest.
The USGA-rated par-32 course plays 2,126 yards with elevated tees on every hole and mountain views throughout. Open to the public from May through late October, the course includes a pro shop, driving range with practice areas for pitching, chipping, and sand play, and electric and pull carts for rent. In winter, the course serves as part of the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation’s cross-country trail network.
