Apache Mesa Golf Course

Apache Mesa Golf Course is a 9-hole military facility at Holloman Air Force Base in the Tularosa Basin of southern New Mexico, opened around 1957. The par-36 layout plays 3,379 yards across predominantly flat desert terrain with bent grass greens. Water hazards come into play on four of the nine holes, adding variety to the otherwise open landscape framed by the Sacramento Mountains to the east.

Managed by U.S. Air Force Services, the course is available to active duty, retired military, DoD personnel, and authorized guests at economy pricing. A driving range supports the facility. Despite its compact yardage, the course plays longer than expected due to persistent desert winds and the dry Tularosa Basin conditions at an elevation near 4,100 feet.
