New Mexico Military Institute Golf Course

Floyd Farley designed this 18-hole course on the New Mexico Military Institute campus, opening it in 1957. The layout plays 6,689 yards from the back tees to a par of 72, with 6,315 yards from the middle tees and 5,275 from the forward tees. Flat terrain typical of the Pecos Valley gives way to tree-lined fairways and strategic bunkering that reward controlled shot-making.

Open to the public alongside NMMI cadets and staff, the course offers some of the lowest green fees in the Roswell area. A large driving range and putting green provide warm-up space before rounds. The facility has served the southeastern New Mexico golf community for nearly seven decades, maintaining a straightforward design that suits players of all skill levels.
