Emerald Greens

Emerald Greens is an 18-hole course at 5,385 yards with a par of 70. There is no driving range. The shorter yardage keeps rounds moving, and the terrain in St. Lawrence County is relatively flat with open stretches along US Highway 11. The reduced length suits players who prefer accuracy over power.

The course is in Gouverneur, a town in New York’s North Country, roughly midway between Watertown and the Canadian border. Economy green fees make it very affordable. Gouverneur Country Club is the closest alternative, and Langbrook Meadows Golf and Country Club is also in the area. Golf courses are more spread out in the North Country, making each facility a focal point for local players.
