Friar's Head

Friar’s Head is an 18-hole, par-71 course playing 6,800 yards. A driving range is on the property. The course sits along the Long Island Sound on the North Fork, where coastal terrain and wind conditions shape play. At 6,800 yards, it is a long layout that will test players from the back tees.

This is an elite private club in Riverhead, in Suffolk County on Long Island’s eastern end. The North Fork is known for its agricultural character and vineyards, and the area has fewer courses than the South Fork. The Vineyards Golf Club, Cherry Creek Golf Links, and Long Island National Golf Club are among the nearest options in the Riverhead area.
