Saunders Golf Course

Saunders Golf Course plays nine holes at par 32 over just 1,235 yards on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. The compact island layout is largely flat, and the short yardage puts the emphasis on wedges and putting. There is no driving range, fitting the casual character of a resort-island course.

Located on Catawba Avenue in Put-in-Bay, Saunders serves summer visitors and island residents at economy pricing. It is one of the few golf courses on the Lake Erie islands. Catawba Island Club and Erie Islands Resort are the closest mainland options, reachable by ferry from the island’s docks.
