Tishomingo Golf Course

Tishomingo Golf Course was designed in 1925 by Perry Maxwell, often called the “Father of Oklahoma Golf,” making it one of the oldest courses in the state. The 9-hole layout runs alongside Pennington Creek and plays 3,187 yards at par 36 over hilly terrain that adds elevation changes to nearly every hole. The course is open to the public and sits west of Tishomingo in Johnston County, within the Chickasaw Country tourism region.

Green fees are $30 on weekdays and $34 on weekends for 18 holes, with all rates including a cart. A 9-hole option is available for $20 anytime. The clubhouse offers drinks, snacks, and basic pro shop supplies including golf balls, tees, and gloves. The course is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and provides a driving range for warm-ups.
