Windy Trails Golf Course

Windy Trails Golf Course is an 18-hole layout on the north side of Altus Air Force Base in southwest Oklahoma. The par-72 course plays 6,963 yards from the longest tees, with bentgrass greens that provide smooth, fast putting surfaces. Wind is a constant factor on this open course, and depending on direction, the layout can play dramatically different from one day to the next. Several holes offer views of both Quartz Mountain and the Navajo Mountains.

The driving range is a standout feature – lit throughout the night for 24-hour access, with both mats and grass tees available under a covered portable canopy. The course is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and serves active duty military, retirees, reservists, DoD civilians, and their families. Green fees remain in the economy range, consistent with military base pricing.
