Eagle Crest Resort Challenge & Ridge Courses

The Challenge Course at Eagle Crest Resort is an 18-hole par-63 executive layout on the 1,700-acre property five miles west of Redmond in central Oregon’s high desert. The course features nine par 4s and nine par 3s across 4,160 yards, and most rounds take about three hours. Four tee boxes at each hole accommodate a wide range of skill levels, from first-timers to experienced players sharpening their short game.

Despite its shorter yardage, the Challenge Course is a step above a typical executive track. Well-maintained fairways, tricky green contours, grass troughs, sand traps, and strategic tree placement demand precision over power. The course winds through a residential area with Cascade Mountain views to the east, and benefits from central Oregon’s 300-plus days of sunshine and minimal rainfall. A driving range is available at the resort for pre-round warm-ups.
