Laurel Hill Golf Course

Laurel Hill Golf Course opened on August 6, 1977, created by Harvey Granger on a forested property along Old Stage Road in Central Point. The family-owned, 9-hole layout plays 1,915 yards at par 31, but the yardage is deceptive – four par 4s in the 275- to 300-yard range thread through tree-lined doglegs that demand two solid iron shots to reach the green. Five sand traps and three water hazards add further difficulty to a course that has been compared to a regulation track with the drives removed.

Open year-round to the public, Laurel Hill also features a driving range, a disc golf course, and a clubhouse with a grill. The compact size and accessible green fees make it a practical option near Medford and Gold Hill for players looking to fit in a quick round. The wooded setting keeps the course shaded and comfortable even during southern Oregon’s warm summer months.
