Oakway Golf Course

Oakway Golf Course is an 18-hole public executive layout winding through residential neighborhoods just north of downtown Eugene, less than 10 minutes from the University of Oregon campus. The par-61 routing covers 3,576 yards and includes 11 par 3s (ranging from 102 to 198 yards) and seven par 4s (242 to 328 yards), all threaded through century-old stands of oak and maple. The flat terrain and short distances make it easy to walk, and most rounds finish in about three hours.

The course operates on a walk-up basis with no tee-time reservations, which keeps things casual but can mean occasional waits on busy days. An 18-hole disc golf course shares the property, doubling the recreation options for visitors. There is no driving range on site. Oakway’s combination of mature tree canopy, affordable pricing, and central Eugene location has made it a popular choice for players looking for a quick, no-frills round close to the city center.
