Dataw Island Club

Dataw Island Club plays 6,342 yards at par 72 on Saint Helena Island, east of Beaufort. The course sits on a private island connected by causeway, with holes routed through live oaks, tidal marsh, and lagoons. Views of the Morgan River and surrounding creeks appear on several holes, and the flat Lowcountry terrain keeps the walk manageable. A driving range is on the property.

Premium pricing and private island access restrict play to residents and their guests. Dataw Island has two 18-hole courses on the property. The island’s location in the Sea Islands chain gives it a quieter, more remote atmosphere than the busier Hilton Head corridor 30 miles to the south.
