Fort Jackson Golf Club

Fort Jackson Golf Club plays 6,721 yards at par 72 on the grounds of Fort Jackson, the U.S. Army’s largest basic training installation in Columbia. The course routes through pine-covered Midlands terrain with sand-based fairways and moderate elevation changes. Water hazards appear on several holes, and the greens are well-maintained. A driving range is on the property.

Standard pricing and military-installation access make this course available to active-duty service members, retirees, Department of Defense civilians, and their guests. Fort Jackson sits on the east side of Columbia, and the golf club provides recreational relief for the base’s large training population. The 6,700-yard length and solid conditioning make it one of the stronger military courses in the Southeast.
