The Chanticleer Course at Greenville Country Club plays 6,722 yards through a mature residential neighborhood south of downtown Greenville. The par 72 layout features tight, tree-lined fairways with moderate elevation changes typical of the Piedmont foothills. Greens are well-guarded by bunkers, and several holes incorporate small creeks that demand careful club selection on approach shots.

Greenville Country Club operates two courses across separate properties, and the Chanticleer Course is the more recently developed of the two.
